Twisted LoversI’m sitting here in darkness holding onto my life by a simple fading candle’s flame. My breathing becomes swift yet uneasy as the small tear drop of red magic flickers. I slowly approach the candle…I reach for it and let its hot black blood flow onto my pale skin. A glass of what appears to be red wine sits on vile shelf across the room…While the black residue is still settling on my skin I walk toward the glass of scarlet liquid. The glass itself or maybe its contents within seem to hold a depressing grudge against me…I grab for the glass but almost instantaneously let go. A Sinner's Love...I’m here…alone locked within darkness. My vision blurred and speech distorted I feel as if my head were to implode. You look at me as if I am an inanimate object. Day by day I’m passed by as a mere human statue. My lips are pierced shut, my eyes are sewn so I see no light and feel no hope. I nod my head up…and sense the sunlight beating down on my pale ghostly face. I ask the superior one, whoever that may be, why is this happening to me? I feel myself become weak, I want to cry…but the black thread keeping me from feeling what most feel will not let the tears of agony seep through. I lean back on the brick wall and hang my head down.
